Post Turkey Coma...

Good Morning Friends!

Did you all have a Happy Thanksgiving? We had a very low key Turkey day this year.  I remember last year we had been taking care of my dad who was sick, and I just made dinner for the 5 of us. This year my daddy is healthy, (Thank God) and we were able to have him and my sis in law with her husband this year. It was a food ladened afternoon, I only cook for 500 people on holidays even if there is only 7.  Needless to say we shall have turkey everything for the next few nights.

This year my daughter came to me and asked if we can make a new tradition starting this year.  I said sure what did you have in mind and she told me she wanted to help me cook!  Of course I was all for that! Heck yea I said!  So she prepped the Turkey, made the mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and finished off the yams. She set a beautiful table and helped me stay focused on what was important. Love~Laughter~and~ Family!  It was the most least stressful Thanksgiving ever.  It was so fun, I can't wait for next Thanksgiving for us to cook together again. (Maybe I won't let it go that long, maybe she will be helping me say like a Tues night)! lol

I hope you all had time to sort out what you are truly Thankful for. I am thankful for so many things, good, bad and otherwise!  I wouldn't be where I am today if anything in my life had changed one bit.

Thank you to my followers and friends for being in my life, because you are here in my life, I am a better person, and my heart is overflowing!

Here is to another Thanksgiving we were able to share, and here is to many more to come!  May all your days be Blessed, and may you find one thing an hour to be thankful for!

Have a great weekend and squeeze a good nap in if you can!  Nothing like a Sunday nap! zzz!
Thank you for reading my babbles and for stopping over!

Pictures of Stars n Scraps

Good Morning!
Here are the pics I promised of the trunk show going on now at Stars n Scraps in Corona...I hope you get a chance to get over there, its such a darling shop and the staff is so nice!
I went down there recently to restock ( yes, that was a great call..."we are out of this and this and this..." yeah!) Anyhoo...I got to spend the afternoon with my friend Maryjane from Beehive Cottage...we had a blast, chatting and laughing on the drive over. She had never been to Stars n Scraps before and fell in love with the shop.  Then from there we enjoyed a little shopping and lunching at Toms Farms before we headed home.  I got the grand tour of her beloved chickens and the darling coop they live in.  Lucky chicks for sure! If you ever wondered if Maryjane really lives the life she talks about in her blog "Beehive Cottage"  Let me assure you she does, her home is beautiful and when you walk in you can feel the love, as it is in every detail. I am so blessed to call her my friend!   We had a great day!  Can't wait to do it again soon!  ox to you Maryjane!

Well I hope you Enjoy your day, as I am off to create more goods,  getting ready for Vintage Marketplace in Dec.

Summer...

Hi all,
When I was younger and would say things like "Oh I can't wait to be older" My Mother would say "don't wish your life away, its going fast enough"  I never got what she meant until I became an adult...and she was right...life does pass by you fast enough...Now the older I get the faster time seems to go by...I can't believe we are in the last week of July?  I still need to go to the beach, and catch up on my Summer reading, have our family BBQ and other summer things. This Summer has been filled with home improvement projects, we started with one in February, and here we are in July and we are still working on things...the one has now become many...all in mid production, my goal this week is to finish as many as possible, most are just little things, like sanding and painting.  I am confident I will finish, then next week I can work on my Summer Fun List!!! ( I hope)

I hope your Summer Fun List has some check marks on it!  Family Vacation, maybe a Reunion, Beach Trips, Amusement Parks...Just make sure there is some fun and don't let time rush by without taking a break from all of life's chores!

Speaking of work...I have been working on some new patterns, (In between the home improvements) of both Fall and Christmas.  I am looking forward to Idyllwild show in Sept.  My Hubs and I stay at one of the local cabins there and its a working weekend, that doesn't feel much like work.
Sandie and I are working on a dual pattern, my contribution is stitchery and hers is the quilting...it is going to be a great pattern!!!  I can't wait to reveal it at the show!!!
I will post the other new patterns here and on my etsy page as soon as they are complete...

I am working on a web page, and also a page to let you know where you can find me in other stores...Yet another Summer project...lol

I hope you all are enjoying your Summer, and try not to let too much time fly by you before you do the one thing you have been putting off...go do something fun, the work will still be there when you get home, but the chance to spend with friends and family and to make a new memory is right now...
I am telling you this as much as I am telling myself...
Have a great rest of your Summer!

See you all soon, Be well and Be Blessed,
Thank you all for coming by~

Great Weekend!

Hello Everyone!
I hope you had a great 4th of July weekend!  We sure did...We had family n friends over for a BBQ on Friday the 4th, then Saturday it was off to the Desert for an afternoon with some great friends we haven't seen in a very long while, then Sunday was very relaxing and I took about 15 naps (cat naps really) and watched the Pioneer Women marathon all day!  It was a much needed day off!  Now its back to work tomorrow, today was shopping for grocery's and all the errands I didn't run on Friday!
I hope you all have a great work week and try to stay cool...
This is our rescue Rocket( the one pictured on the right of my blog...)He isn't so little any more, he is weighting in at 19 lbs these days...I just needed a pic and he looks happy resting in the garden! Our other kitty Olive was making some ruckus in the back ground that's why his ears are back...did you know cats have 30 muscles in their ears?

Have a great evening! Talk to you soon, be sure to like us on Facebook and keep up with all the goings on!

Behind the Picket Fence Show Pics

Hi Guys,
Well the show came and went...It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun! I was able to be surrounded by some awesome friends, Lori from Simply Put patterns, Kat from Plaid Kat Designs, Kelly from Tularosa, and Rachel from Madam Blues!  Sandie and I had a blast! We saw some other really great artists too!  There is another Show in August, and its not a bad drive if you get a chance,  you should go, and make sure you have a homemade Scone and Homemade Lemon Curd...I finished mine off with the lid of the container...lol ...Yes its that good!  Almost like the best lemon pudding you ever had...

Anyway I thought I would share some Pics of the booth and such if you didn't get down there.

We are sorta off for the summer, getting ready for the Holidays, new patterns and goods to work on.  Our Next show is in Idyllwild September 6-7th at the same place as last year. See a previous post for more details.  If you want to have a great weekend, stay at the Strawberry Bunkhouse its very close to the show and town.  They make you homemade scones in the morning and hang them on your door along with oatmeal and juice! In these darling little baskets.

Ok here are the pics let me know what you think...

Our new sales counter!

Sales were good, for the most part. As vendors sales are always hinged on what is going on at the time.  This time of year its Graduations, Vacations, Kids out of school, and of course the Heat.  But in spite of all that, we had a great day and I am forever thankful for every sale!  I am very blessed to be able to do what I do, and its because of awesome friends and customers like you who are ever supportive of my efforts!
Thank you all so very Much!

Hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July Weekend, We will be home with our scardy cat dog Charlie, as he is terrified of any kind of noise like that!  But we are having family and friends over for a game night and of course...eating...lol
Blessing to all of you stay safe and have loads of fun!

Saturday Barn Sale

Howdy all!
Well Saturday was a little slower than I expected...I think everyone traveled to the Vintage Marketplace, and who can blame them...that show is awesome!  So much good stuff and it only comes around 4 times a year. Sandie and I planned our next show and got caught up on things. and I think we still did just fine and had a great day out!  The weather was just wonderful sitting there on the grass with the abundant shade from the trees over head.  We met new vendors, we did shopping between each other, which always happens anyway, and we got to spend some time with friends! It was a great day and I would love to show you pics of it but sadly I forgot...I know, I have been doing that lately...simple things are just getting over looked.  So if you want to see what the spot looked like, boop on over to my friends page at Beehive Cottage ( she is listed under "Blogs I Love" to the right of my post) and give her blog a look-see, and there you will find a pic of my booth that she was so awesome to snap a pic of.  While you are there check out all of  her darling goods and creations she makes! We had such a nice time...and in spite of the infamous lunch incident of 2014 we are still friends! hahah

Don't miss The next Barn Sale at Rooster Creek in July...Stay tooned...for more on that as it gets closer

Sandie and I will be at The Behind the Picket Fence show on June 28th in Costa Mesa we are setting up a double booth and I will have some Fall and Christmas patterns there...The holidays will be here before you know it! So save the date and come see us there!  xoxo

Good Monday Morning!!
I hope you all had a relaxing Mothers Day!  I had a wonderful day, my family made me dinner and my hubs took me to In and Out for lunch ( at my request of course, it was my day after all!) lol.

The Divine Sewers of the Ya Ya Sisterhood put on a wonderful show Saturday!  If you didn't make  it out you missed a great day!  The weather was perfect and the quilts were beautiful and everyone one was in a great mood!

I met some new friends Maryjane from Beehive Cottage Blog, I just loved spending the afternoon with her. Patricia, Debbie, Debra and so many others!!!   I was also happy to see some of my wonderful Customers and long time friends who came to shop. It was nice, we were able to sit and chat this time instead of being so rushed!  I really can't say enough good things about the show.

Rooster Creek was so great about having treats and made it so nice for the Ya Ya's to set up and show off their creativity.  They even made a special spot for me! Vivian and Cricket are wonderful hostesses! The store looked great too with all the new Wool and fat quarters!  Plus Patterns and Pearl Cotton Floss, and she is carrying my patterns too!!!

I had a great weekend, the show was awesome, time with friends was great, and my family treated me like they always do...with lots of love and pampering!  I had the best time.  Thank you all for being a part of it.

I am looking forward to our next show...we will be at Rooster Creek again on June 7th for their Barn Sale.  Sandie will be joining me this time and we are planning on having a double booth.  We hope to see you there.  Its the same weekend as The Vintage Marketplace, so you can make a day of it. I love it when that happens! You can shop the Murrieta markets and then head to Vintage Marketplace!  Or visa versa!  lol  I hope to see you then.

I hope you all have a great week and I will keep you posted on our next show!!!  Take good care of yourselves and I look so forward to seeing you all soon.  Make sure you head over to my friends blog, Beehive Cottage for some great tips and projects.  But mostly for her loving way she speaks about things she loves and the people in her life! I am going to love being Friends with Maryjane!  I hope we get to spend loads of time together!!!

Thank you all for stopping by,

The Divine Sewers of the Ya Ya Sisterhood

Howdy all,

Wildoberry Farms is proud to be a guest of the Divine Sewers of the Ya Ya Sisterhood.  They are putting on a Quilt show this Sat May 10th from 10 - 4 pm Saturday only!  I will be there set up with some new patterns and some other goodies too!  This event is free to enter.

This Quilt show will be held at Rooster Creek on Washington and C street in Old Town Murrieta CA between Kalmia and Ivy streets ( Main Cross Streets)

There are live demos planned, quilts for sale and Rooster Creek is ready to show off all of their new doll, stitchery, and wool applique patterns and also a 100% wool section they are carrying now.  My patterns and hand made goods are now in Rooster Creek as well!!

So even if you aren't a  stitcher as of this minute, that doesn't mean you won't be after you see all the yummy patterns, wool and fabric you can play with!!!  You won't be able to help yourself!

Pam Says..."The Divine Sewers of The Ya Ya Sisterhood is a quilt group of about 35 ladies that meet weekly at the Murrieta Sr. Center to sew and chat and just generally have a great time together, and yes, we all are of "that" age!"

I am looking forward to Saturday, should be a blast!!!  Hope you all can join us for this event!!! Bring your friends, and spend the day in Murrieta. Come see us at the quilt show, shop at Rooster Creek, stop by the other Shops of Murrieta.  Little shop of Treasures on Ivy and Washington next to the Post Office and Cottage Charm on Ivy and Jefferson. Plus there are a couple of places to have lunch in town and around.  In town is Calhoun's, its a BBQ place that has the best BBQ in town, then there is Farmstead Market on Kalmia and Jefferson, they have live music on the weekends and have wonderful sandwiches and other fair for lunch, and lastly the Mill, serves pasta and pizza, I hear its very good, although I have not been there yet.  I'm sure I forgot some place but those are my top 3 pics...lol

Hope to see you here, please like us on Facebook to know where our next show will be.  So far, Sandie from Pieced with Love Quilt shop, will be with me at Rooster Creek on the first Saturday on June 7th, we will have a large booth. Then in Idyllwild in September on the 6-7th .

Keep in Touch, we are always adding  something to our list!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and listening to my endless babbles!!!  Ha Ha!

God Bless you all!
